Apricots, Basil, Chilli, Feta, Sweet Chilli Mayo and Black Sesame on Olive Oil
The Bella team has been pondering the 2020 words of May-a‘s sublime hit Apricots, and wondering if mayonnaise and apricots is really such an incompatible mix. After taste testing, the short answer was yes, as the song implies, it’s a bland & uninspired combo which doesn’t really work…
But not satisfied with that outcome, we’ve added, tweaked & tested until we’ve created a mayonnaise & apricot pizza combo which we think is simply divine. Dried Apricots, Fresh Basil, Red Chilli, Feta on an Olive Oil base finished, with Sweet Chilli Mayo & Black Sesame Seeds! 🔥🍕🌶️
Turns out the secret to mayonnaise & apricot was adding some serious spice! The sweet chilli mayo was the cheat code to bring all the flavours together into this deliciously spicy pizza combo! 🔥🍕🌶️
